[03:26.91]In the language of common men.
[03:28.57]But it was filtered through councils,
[03:30.55]Empires,
[03:31.21]And rulers.
[03:31.99]Until the cross lost its offense.
[03:34.48]And faith became manageable,
[03:37.32]Useful,
[03:40.16]And safe.

[03:43.20]But when the offense is removed,
[03:45.02]So is the power.
[03:47.16]When Christ is reshaped

[03:50.47]And religion remains
